I just finished The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie, and it was amazing. It was funny and heartbreaking and so beautifully written. Junior is a great narrator and the bravest kid I've seen in fiction in quite a while. I will definitely seek out Alexie's other work - I can't recommend this book highly enough.
